Fans will love what JJ Redick has said in Stephen Curry's defense over Bomani Jones’ ‘disrespect’

New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard JJ Redick has defended Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry against ESPN analyst Bomani Jones. Jones had called Curry the greatest system player ever. He went on Redick’s podcast and told the veteran guard that Curry isn’t a guy he trusts to get his own shot off the dribble. That’s when Redick told Jones the disrespect Curry gets blows his mind, via Drew Shiller of NBC Sports Bay Area. Jones: “People got mad at me because I was saying Stephen Curry — he’s not on my list of guys to go get his own shot. Guys that go 1-4 flat and get us a bucket — I’ll take Dame (Damian Lillard), I’ll take Kyrie (Irving). If I need somebody to turn 5-on-5 into 4-on-3, I’ll take Steph … JJ looks like he’s about to jump through the screen (laughter).” Redick: “The amount of disrespect that Steph Curry gets — it blows my mind (laughter). It blows my mind. It blows my mind … he creates off the dribble all the time.” Warriors fans already like Redick since he’s previously spoken highly of Klay Thompson. Now that Redick is backing up Curry, Warriors supporters will probably never boo the Pelicans guard when New Orleans and Golden State play at the Chase Center moving forward. Source- CLUTCHPOINTS
