Fabrizio Romano: Willian rejects Chelsea contract offer

Willian has rejected Chelsea's latest attempts to sign a new two-year deal until 2022, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Brazilian is edging closer to exit. Arsenal are now in talks with his representatives to sign him as a free agent. However, there are no bids from Barcelona at the moment. The winger has been unable to reach agreement over fresh terms because of his demands for a three-year extension. Frank Lampard has repeatedly said he wants to keep Willian.  

Willian has refused another bid from Chelsea to extend his contract until June 2022. Still no agreement. Arsenal are now in talks with his representatives to sign him as a free agent - no bids from Barcelona at the moment. 🇧🇷 #AFC #CFC #transfers
