Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Virgil van Dijk's new contract situation at Liverpool. The 29-year-old's current deal expires in 2023, the earlier this year, the journalist revealed that the Reds are ready to open negotiations to extend the player's contract. Now, according to Romano, Van Dijk is now open to discuss the details of his new deal. The journalist also added that the club board is also eager to work on Fabinho's contract extension.
