Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Edouard Mendy's transfer amid Chelsea links. The Blues were linked with Stade Rennais goalkeeper for the summer transfer window, while earlier today Romano revealed the player himself is eager to make a move to the Premier League side. Now journalist has confirmed Chelsea's bid for the 28-year-old has been accepted by Rennes. The deal will be completed in the next days, while the goalkeeper will fly to London to have medicals soon.
