Ex-Premier League referee gives his verdict on Crystal Palace disallowed goal vs Liverpool

Former Premier League referee Dermoth Gallagher has given his verdicts on match-days most controversial episodes.  Gallagher is sure there was a right call from VAR to disallow Crystal Palace first half goal against Liverpool scored by James Tomkins, as there was a foul against Dejan Lovren.
"When you see one angle, I cannot see anything other than it being given as a foul. If I come in here on a Monday and that has not been given, you will say to me: 'How is this not a foul?' There is physical contact and there are fouls and when the VAR sees that, I think it is very difficult not to give a foul."
Liverpool managed to record their 12th win of the season due to Sadio Mane's opener and Roberto Firmino's late goal.  Merseyside club are now 8 points clear of Leicester City and 9 points clear of Manchester City.
