Frank Lampard has opened up on Tottenham's playing style following Everton's 5 - 0 defeat to the Spurs in the Premier League.
The Toffees' boss has claimed Antonio Conte's team is "very organised" and they defend "quite deep".
“The first 15 minutes looked like how I wanted it. Controlled a lot of the possession, but then, the crucial part of Tottenham’s game is being a counter-attacking team," Lampard
told his post-match press conference.
“It’s to find spaces in-behind you. Involve Harry Kane in the build. We didn’t deal with it – it gives them confidence, when they haven’t had confidence at home recently, then you make your own problems.
“Tottenham, the way they play, very organised and they defend quite deep. They block areas, so we have to break that, so we didn’t show that.”
