England manager Gareth Southgate reacts to Jordan Henderson’s penalty miss

  Gareth Southgate has reacted to Jordan Henderson's penalty miss in England's friendly win over Romania on Sunday. The Three Lions faced Romania as part of their preparations for the EURO 2020. Southgate's side celebrated a 1-0 victory as Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game from a penalty kick. Later during the game, England were given a  chance to double their lead however Henderson's penalty was saved by Florin Nita. The Liverpool man made his first appearances since February after having suffered an injury. “I was expecting Dominic to take it and when Hendo walked over I thought he was making sure that happened, so I will have to check what happened,” Southgate told ITV. “We will pull rank next time,” he added.   source - The Independent /  Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
