Crystal Palace defenders Tyrick Mitchell and Marc Guehi are both reportedly being closely watched by Gareth Southgate ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
The Daily Mail claim Southgate is keeping “close tabs” on Mitchell, with friendlies in March seen as a possible opportunity for the 22-year-old to have his first call up to the squad.
The Times have also name-checked England U21 skipper Guehi as someone Southgate intends to keep an eye on ahead of next year’s winter World Cup.
Guehi joined Palace in the summer from Chelsea in an £18million deal.
The 21-year-old was named England U21 captain this summer by new manager Lee Carsley.
