Wolverhampton Wanderers' veteran duo Joao Moutinho and striker Diego Costa will be leaving the club upon the expiration of their current contracts.
The Wolves' sporting director Matt Hobbs has confirmed that both the Brazilian and Portuguese stars will officially depart at the end of June.
Moutinho, who arrived at Molineux from Monaco in July 2018, has made a total of 212 appearances for the club, meanwhile, Costa completed a move to the cub on a free transfer last summer with a season-long deal.
Speaking via the club's official website, Hobbs has provided an update on the duo's futures, confirming that they will be departing from the teams in the upcoming transfer window.
"Joao’s going to go down as one of the best players to ever pull on the old gold, in my opinion.
“He was an integral part of the team the entire time he was here. Our success over the last four or five years, he’s been instrumental in. So, he now departs with nothing but thanks from the football club."
“I’ve got no doubt that Diego will get another club off the back of his performances for sure. If a club calls me to ask about the person, he’ll get nothing but praise from me.”
