Bournemouth finished 15th in the Premier League 2022/23 season. But where would the Cherries finish in the league without VAR?
If VAR didn't exist, the league standings might appear differently. ESPN have taken a look at what the Premier League standings may look like without VAR.
The 2022–23 Premier League season is over with Manchester City having won the title for the third year in a row.
The season was full of surprising things, as Arsenal were leading the table until they blew their lead and City eventually took the title. In contrast, Liverpool could only guarantee their Europa League position.
Aston Villa and Brighton both had successful seasons; Villa will compete in the Europa Conference League while Brighton will play in the Europa League.
Leeds, Leicester City, and Southampton were relegated, while Newcastle secured their place in the Champions League. Tottenham finished eighth.
The Cherries could have finished 17th in the Premier League 2022/23 season without VAR.
