NFL legend Tom Brady has lavished praise on Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Brady has enjoyed an extremely successful career over the last two decades, winning the Super Bowl seven times and being named Super Bowl MVP five times in the process.
And on Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has announced his retirement ending his 22 year career in the NFL.
And Spurs talisman Kane took to social media shortly after Brady's announcement to hail the American's impact on sport.
Writing on his Instagram story, the England captain said:
"Congratulations on an incredible career Tom Brady. Your drive, passion and commitment is inspiring. You’re the main reason I started following the sport and love the NFL. Thank you!"
Brady responded:
"Thanks Harry Kane one of the many amazing young stars in this world."
