Lucas Paquetá is reportedly set to move to Manchester City FC as stated by journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi.
The Brazilian international has had discussions with the Cityzens' manager Pep Guardiola and is said to have agreed to a six-year contract with the Premier League champions.
This transfer is viewed as a potential replacement for either Kevin de Bruyne or Bernardo Silva in the long term. Despite having joined the Hammers just a year ago from Lyon for €42 million after winning the 2023 Europa Conference League, the midfielder seems poised to make the switch.
According to the journalist, City initially offered €85 million to the London club with an additional €10 million dependent on performance milestones.
However, David Moyes is holding out for a larger transfer fee of €110 million. Nonetheless, the Manchester giants remain confident about finalizing the deal, given Paquetá's eagerness to move from the London Stadium to the Etihad Stadium.
