West Ham manager David Moyes' hints on Declan Rice's transfer and the captain's own preference to stay in the Premier League indicate Arsenal's advantage over Bayern Munich.
The 24-year-old Hammer has been known for his desire to stay in the British league, where Arsenal and Manchester United are his main admirers, the former being at the forefront of the race.
"He'll be a British transfer record if he ever leaves West Ham," said the Hammers' manager David Moyes with confidence. According to multiple reports, Arsenal have opened a £90 million bid Rice, which will be around what Chelsea paid for Enzo Fernandez from Benefica.
In an effort to address speculations on his transfer links, Rice has said.
"My main focus this season, from the World Cup onwards, had been getting us out of relegation battle, and of course having one eye on winning this trophy [Europa Conference League]. Everything else is just noise and speculation."
