Pep Guardiola has heaped praise on Oscar Bobb for his outstanding performance during Manchester City's 5-3 victory against Yokohama F.Marinos.
The young Norwegian wonderkid came on as a substitute for Cole Palmer in the second half and impressed everyone with his skills.
Guardiola particularly highlighted Bobb's technical proficiency, passing ability, and seamless connection with Bernardo Silva on the right flank. Playing in both a right-wing and wide midfield role, the 20-year-old was considered by many as the standout player of the match, following Erling Haaland, who scored two brilliant goals after coming off the bench.
Guardiola openly commended the youngster for stealing the limelight with his dazzling display for the Citizens.
“Oscar made an incredible season for the second-team last year. He played unbelievable today. He can play three or four positions as well,” the manager said, as quoted by Manchester Evening News.
