Bournemouth newcomer Tyler Adams has suffered a recurrence of a hamstring injury and is expected to be sidelined for a long time.
The USMNT midfielder joined the Cherries in the summer transfer window and has only made one appearance so far for the club having played in the EFL Cup third round game against Stoke City.
According to The Athletic, Adams had surgery two weeks ago and is expected to make his return mid-February to mid-March.
His debut for the Cherries was delayed as he was sidelined for six months. Adams was recovering from a previous hamstring operation that he had while at Leeds United.
