Tottenham have reportedly launched a joint bid for Leicester City duo James Maddison and Harvey Barnes that is expected to be rejected by the relegated club.
Although Leicester City were unable to avoid sitting at the bottom of the table, the Foxes in question displayed high-quality performance on the pitch. After losing their chance to partake in the championship next season, it is no wonder that big teams want to attract and secure the services of their talented players.
According to The Mail, the Spurs' proposed valuation for both players is £50m but the Foxes wanted £60m for each of them just last season. Under the new coach Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham are expected to undergo a squad renovation as their incoming manager will look to test new strategies and techniques to guide the team to better results next year.
During the 2022/23 Premier League season, Maddison made 9 assists and scored 10 goals in a total of 30 appearances for the Foxes, while his teammate Barnes scored 13 goals and made a single assist in 34 appearances.
