Despite a bumpy start in his first two games at Tottenham Hotspur, Timo Werner has been enjoying the praise for his speed and the dynamics brought to Ange Postecoglou's side.
The German international was Tottenham's first singing of the January transfer window, having earned a ticket back to the Premier League from Bundesliga's RB Leipzig.
In the last matches under Ange Postecoglou, Werner has made some vital team contributions and earned the fans' respect. Below are some of his best moments at the Spurs so far.
Tottenham vs Brentford
Tottenham had a bit of a snoozy first half, but then Timo Werner hit the turbo button in the second half. He set up Destiny Udogie for a banging equalizer after collecting a slick pass. Next, he did a cheeky square ball to the far post, setting up substitute Brennan Johnson for a tap-in that completely flipped the game.
This was easily Werner's best game in a Tottenham jersey. Started slow, but once he revved up, he was on fire. Bagged two assists for Udogie and Johnson.
Tottenham vs Everton
Tottenham missed a chance to level with Manchester City and Arsenal, drawing 2-2 with Everton after conceding a late equalizer.
Richarlison, facing his former team, initially put Spurs ahead with two clinical first-half goals. His first, after four minutes, saw him sweep home a volley following Destiny Udogie's setup from Timo Werner's pass.
Werner was a key part of the chain of passes that led to Richarlison's brace.
