Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has provided an update on Naby Keita's situation at Liverpool.
The Reds midfielder's current deal expires in the summer of 2023, while the negotiations regarding a contract extension are still in process.
Jurgen Klopp wants to see Keita continue his playing spell at Anfield. The club are also eager to extend the player's stay.
However, according to Plettenberg, the talks have now stopped as Keita will only stay in case of a regular football.
