Wales and Swansea winger Daniel James is on the verge of completing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first summer signing after completing a medical yesterday.
James’ transfer will worth £17m but what is more interesting, he is in line for a bumper pay rise when he completes his move to the Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old will go from earning £4,000-per-week at Swansea to signing a long-term deal worth up to £67,000-a-week including bonuses at United.
He was given permission to leave Wales’ training base in Chester and travel to Carrington yesterday morning for his medical before he re-joined Wales’s squad ahead of their flight to Croatia last night.
