Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp admits Mo Salah didn’t have his best performance their Premier League match against Chelsea and explained the reason to substitute him.
The Egyptian star was withdrawn shortly after the hour mark and replaced by Xherdan Shaqiri, who later assisted Daniel Sturridge’s leveller
Asked why last season’s Player of the Year was taken off, Klopp replied: ‘Salah is not injured. I know people will make a fuss of it. ‘It was not Mo’s best game of his career, 100%. But he constantly gets into situations and that makes him a world class player. He wants to be decisive.’
