Leicester City are preparing to make a second £25 million bid for Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor, according to
The Sun.
The 26-year-old joined Celtic in the summer of 2013. He has already made 173 Scottish Premiership appearances for the club, scoring 29 goals.
This season, the midfielder has scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists for the team.
Brendan Rodger's side have targeted McGregor last summer, with the club boss being a big fan of the player.
The Foxes are enjoying their Premier League season. They are likely to be finishing the season in the top four and securing their place in the Champions League. The club will be looking for new midfield options amid Ben Chilwell and James Maddison's possible transfers.
Meanwhile, McGregor's contract expires in 2024. However, the Scotland professional has already won all the possible titles in Scotland and will likely to be looking for new challenges.
