Reece James has taken to Instagram Stories to send message following injury news.
Chelsea prepare to face Newcastle in the Premier League final game of the 2022/23 season and ahead of the game it has been confirmed that James has suffered an injury setback.
The 23-year-old has been dealing with a hamstring injury and will miss the final game of the Blues' season, which was not one of the bests as they are currently 12th in the league table.
After the news broke, James took to Instagram Stories and posted a message.
“I’m sure you’ve seen the news,” he posted on Instagram. “I won’t be back for the last game of the season.
“It’s been tough for me. I’m sorry this season hasn’t gone as we all wanted.
"Next season I will be back stronger than ever, and we'll be back fighting for trophies!
