Don Hutchison has shared his high praise for Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber for their impressive performances in Arsenal's 2 - 0 pre-season friendly loss to Manchester United in New York.
Despite goals from Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho against Arsenal, the Gunners had their moments, with Saka making a brilliant run and narrowly missing the target with his effort. Although Aaron Ramsdale's attempt to save Fernandes's goal was criticized, overall, the team received praise for their performance.
Saka, who started as a right-back, caught Hutchison's eye with his sharpness in the early stages of the match, while Timber also impressed for Arsenal.
“Bukayo Saka, who I thought was really sharp for the first 25 minutes of the game," the pundit said, via HITC.
“Timber I thought done well. I just think it’s very early. When you look at someone like Kai Havertz, who has been at the club for a couple of weeks and Declan Rice has probably had three or four training sessions," he added.
