PSG have reportedly offered Marco Verratti and Gianluigi Donnarumma in a potential swap deal to sign Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva, according to The Athletic, via Sportbible.
The Premier League champions have emphasized to Silva how crucial he is to their plans for the upcoming season, considering his influential role in their successful treble-winning campaign. Nevertheless, PSG are said to be exploring alternative avenues to secure the Portuguese's signature, with their footballing director Luis Campos attempting to negotiate a lower asking price by offering Verratti and Donnarumma in exchange.
There is also a mention of Presnel Kimpembe potentially being included in the deal, but City have reportedly rejected all advances thus far.
According to the report by Foot Mercato, Verratti was proposed as a potential replacement for Ilkay Gundogan, who joined Barcelona this summer, while Donnarumma could have provided competition for Ederson in goal.
Currently, Silva is reportedly open to a move to PSG, but Manchester City remain hopeful of convincing him to stay.
Barcelona have also been linked with a move for the player as they continue to target City's midfielders, following their recent acquisition of Ilkay Gundogan.
