Jurgen Klopp has met with the press ahead of Liverpool's clash against Norwich City on Saturday.
During the press conference, the Reds boss has talked about upcoming fixture against Norwich, Shaqiri's injury, midseason break, Salah at the Olympics and more.
When asked about Salah and the Olympics Klopp replied:
"No decision. Like always, it is clear, do I want to lose him? Of course not. We have to consider different things. I will speak with Mo and we are clear what we want. We need more info and no one has contacted us so far.
“We cannot discuss it as we don’t know too much yet. We will speak and we will see.”
The Reds boss also talked about their upcoming rivals- Norwich City.
"We are before the Norwich game and question two or three and they haven't been mentioned," he said.
"We have no spoke about anything else, we have prepared for this game. It is the most important game of our lives. People think it will be easy, it won't."
When asked about midseason break, the German said:
"It's a pity we have to explain how useful a week off is. Some used it for warm weather camps, but we sent them all over the world. We wanted them to rest. It's about using this time which is a rest and recovery. A lot of [good] things have happened this week."
On Wednesday, Liverpool are set to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League and the Reds boss also talked about that:
"Sometimes when you aren't in a good moment, CL can be a holiday. We are not in that situation. We have one of the most difficult teams to play in Atletico but it is not my problem in the moment. From Monday we will be in a CL mode, if you like"
Liverpool are obvious leaders in the Premier League, as they are 22 points ahead of secondplaced Manchester City, and will face their next opponent- Norwich City on Saturday at the Carrow Road.
