Harry Kane scored a double and gave his side the lead reaching his 200th career goal in the domestic top tier.
The England international netted the first goal in the 5th minute of the clash.
Kane scored the second goal in the 81st minute of the meeting.
As a result, Spurs are sitting in 3rd place in the league table, while Forest are 13th after matchday 4.
