Pochettino provides an update on Levi Colwill, dodges a question on Mason Mount

In his first press conference as a Chelsea coach, Mauricio Pochettino provided an update on Levi Colwill's situation while dodging a question regarding Mason Mount who left the club for Arsenal a few days ago.

The Argentine manager revealed that he has spoken to Colwill and Madueke to introduce himself and expects the young players to travel to the USA for their pre-season fixtures.

"We spoke yesterday with Levi and Noni. One I know, Noni, from Tottenham, in the Under-18s. Of course Levi I know," said Pochettino. The skilled youngsters are currently in the England Under-21 squad and are set to face Spain for the final game of the European Championships. Despite Liverpool's eagerness to land the young Chelsea defender, Pochettino once again reassured the club's stance on not selling the English talent.

When asked about Chelsea's homegrown talent Mason Mount's departure from the club, Pochettino remained rather concise. Recognizing the player's history and dedication for the Blues, the Argentine said that Mount is now a "United player," and he prefers to talk about Chelsea players.

"I don't know what happened in the past, we need to be focused on our players and move and try to build a nice story," added the 51-year-old.

As for his perspective at the club, the motivated manager said: "My aim is to win. If you are at a club like Chelsea, you can't only talk about doing a nice job and playing well. Of course, we need to win."
