Peter Crouch says one Liverpool player is now worth £100m after Everton display

Peter Crouch has shared his high praise for Luis Diaz, suggesting that the Liverpool winger is now worth a staggering £100 million, all thanks to his remarkable performance against Everton.

The Reds celebrated a 2 - 0 victory over the Toffees in the Merseyside derby on Saturday. Mohamed Salah scored a double to secure three points for his side. 

Despite the Egyptian star's contribution, Crouch was particularly impressed by Diaz's display. The pundit highlighted a crucial role the attacker played in winning the key penalty that set Liverpool on the path to a 2-0 victory at Anfield.

“I love Diaz. He’s been like a new signing, like bringing another £100m player in, because obviously his injuries last season. Him coming in just changes things," Crouch said on TNT Sports.

After the latest result, Liverpool are currently sitting in 3rd place in the Premier League table, one point behind the leaders, Manchester City.
