Pep Guardiola reveals exact date Julián Álvarez will join the Manchester City squad

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Julián Álvarez will join his new Manchester City teammates during the pre-season. The 22-year-old joined the Cityzen in the January transfer window from River Plate. Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Catalan boss admitted he's 'super happy' to have the Argentine in the future.

“It's a player that could be already with us now, but we have enough players. The best is stay in River”, Guardiola said.   “In the pre-season, he'll be with us. After we'll decide what happens. I’m super happy to have him for the future”
