Pep Guardiola has given an injury update ahead of West Ham clash. Manchester City face the Hammers on Saturday, September 16, 2023 following the international break.
Ahead of the game, Guardiola provided injury updates on Jack Grealish, John Stones and Mateo Kovacic.
Grealish missed City's game against Fulham ahead of international break with a hamstring injury, meanwhile, Kovacic was part of Croatia squad for the EURO qualifiers, however, he was an unused susbstitute in both games.
Stones has been out for hip injury since the start of the season.
"Both injured for tomorrow. I don't know for Red Star. Step by Step. The injury for Jack is muscular but has an incredible knock for his knee and the damage is there. John is better but still has issues," said Guardiola.
When asked on Kovacic, Guardiola said: "Something also muscular. Not a big issue but also out for tomorrow."
