Manchester City will host Sporting in the Champions League round of 16 second leg game on Wednesday, March 9. Ahead of the game, City head coach Pep Guardiola has provided team news update. Speaking in a press conference, Guardiola said: "We don’t have many players, just 14 available, a few problems, Kyle suspended, Joao is sick, of course, we had an incredible result in the first leg, football is unpredictable, red cards, quality of opponent, we’ll take a top side as much as possible. Not many alternatives but will do the best team possible to win the game." The first leg between the sides ended in City's 5-0 victory.
