Pedro Neto sends 'message' to Arsenal and Man City amid 80% transfer certainty claim

Wolverhampton Wanderers coach Gary O'Neil has sent a resolute hands-off message to potential suitors eyeing key players, notably star winger Pedro Neto, during the January transfer window.

The Portuguese, making a return to the starting lineup after recovering from a hamstring injury, showcased his skills in the goalless draw against Brighton, earning an impressive eight out of 10 in player ratings.

Despite the player's impressive form and attention from clubs like Arsenal and Manchester City, O'Neil asserts that the versatile forward is untouchable and won't be leaving Molineux in this window. Neto's seven assists in the Premier League this season, trailing only Mohamed Salah and Ollie Watkins, have intensified the interest in the 23-year-old.

The Wanderers manager, addressing potential suitors, stated:  “I don’t need to give a message to any club. There’s no chance any of our good players will be leaving in this window. We will be focused on what we can add; no one will be leaving who we don’t want to leave.”

Given Wolves' constrained budget, the likelihood of key players like Neto leaving appears slim, presenting a challenge for both Premier League giants to secure his services in this transfer window.

These clubs might need to explore alternative options or reconsider the prospect in the summer, where the circumstances at Molineux could be more favorable for a potential deal.
