Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming match between Wolves and Chelsea on April 8, 2023.
Both sides are heading to the meeting after playing draws against Liverpool and Nottnigham Forest in the Premier League's previous matchday.
The Blues are set to play their first match with the new caretaker manager Frank Lampard in charge, as Graham Potter has bee sacked by the board following his disappointing results at the cub.
Ahead of the clash, the Midlans outfit are standing 14th in the domestic table, while, the Londoners sit at eleventh with 39 points.
Writing on Sportskeeda, the pundit predicted the result of the match, claiming the meeting will end in Chelsea's victory.
The meeting is scheduled to take place atMolineux Stadium on Saturday, 2 pm UK time.
"This is a hard one to call because at the end of the day, there's nothing in this football match for Chelsea. They have a match against Real Madrid on Wednesday night. Chelsea are going to rest every player and if they do, they won't score many goals."
"With a new manager coming in, however, they might try to win this game to gain a bit of confidence before going to the Bernabeu. It's a bit of a catch-22 situation for them."
