Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming clash between Chelsea and Newcastle United.
The Blues are currently sitting in 12th place in the Premier League table following their midweek 4 - 1 defeat to Manchester United. The Magpies, meanwhile, are 4th on the table and have already secured a Champions League football for the next season after their impressive campaign.
The two teams will be heading to the final Premier League match of the season with the hope to secure three points. Merson, meanwhile, backs the teams to share points at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
"The game against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge is the perfect chance for Chelsea to sign off on a high," the pundit said, via Sportskeeda.
"That said, it will depend a lot on what Newcastle do, with Eddie Howe's side currently on a high after sealing their return to the UEFA Champions League with a 1-1 draw against Leicester City."
