Patrick Vieira believes Premier League table 'does not reflect' the way Crystal Palace perform

Patrick Vieira believes that Crystal Palace are performing better than the Premier League table suggests.

The Eagles are currently standing second in the relegation zone after managing to win once in their seven matches played.

However, the manger insists that the domestic table 'does not reflect' the way his side has been playing so far.

Palace hosted Chelsea last weekend at Sulhurst Park Staidum, where they opened the score on seventh minute only for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to equalize and then Conor Gallagher score a late winner giving his side the adventage.

The team also hitted the net twice against Manchester City at the Etihad until Erling Haaland came up with a hat-trick to spur a 4-2 victory.

Therefore, as Sky Sports reports, Vieira feels frustrated that his team 'does not win games'.

“This is the frustration about it is because where we are in the table does not reflect the way we have been playing so far.

“That’s gave us some hope for the rest of the season and at the same time the table doesn’t lie. So we have to understand that playing well is good because that allowed us to create chances. But we don’t win games and to win games we need to do a little bit more individually, collectively, to turn those performances into a win.”

Crystal Palace are set to return in action against Leeds United on Sunday, October 9 at 2pm BST.
