The one player Liverpool need if they want to mount serious title bid

Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher insists that Liverpool are still missing one player to help fire them to the title. Carragher pointed out that the Red's midfielders are all the "same sort of player" and they are missing a player in the mould of City’s David Silva. Liverpool sold creative midfielder Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in January, and are yet to find a direct replacement for the Brazilian. Carragher is a keen admirer of Silva, who he named as one of the six best players in the division back in September.
