Chelsea's newest signing Christopher Nkunku has opened up about the things his friends told him about the Blues' incoming manager Mauricio Pochettino.
“I have not had a chance to speak to him, not yet," told the France international via Chelsea's official website. During his time at the Bundesliga club, the 25-year-old has had the chance to talk with his PSG teammates about the Argentine manager.
"They told me that he's a very good coach and I'm excited to work with him," continued the skilled baller. Despite facing injuries throughout the previous campaign, Nkunku displayed remarkable form for Leipzig, scoring 23 goals and providing nine assists in a total of 36 appearances. His arrival is bound to provide boost for the Stamford Bridge.
Nkunku's move to Chelsea from RB Leipzig for the upcoming season was announced on June 20, despite the French star signing his contract in December.
