Newcastle United’s top seven fullbacks of the decade

As 2019 winds down, another decade is ending. It’s been a pretty rough one for Newcastle United. The Magpies ended the decade with two trophies-winning the Championship twice. Rob Elliot, Steve Harper, Karl Darlow, Martin Dubravka and Tim Krul are among the best goalkeepers of the decade. But who are the best fullbacks? The seventh is Daryl Janmaat, as he was very hit and miss in black and white. DeAndre Yedlin excelled with Newcastle in the Championship. Davide Santon helped Newcastle finish fifth in the Premier League. Danny Simpson was a proper old school defender for Newcastle. Mathieu Debuchy’s form has earned him a move to Arsenal in 2014. Paul Dummett is another star on the list of the best fullback of the decade. The best one is Jose Enrique, who came of age in the Championship.
