Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, has once again expressed his strong support for midfielder Jorginho.
The proficient passer was featured in the team's recent 3-1 victory against Liverpool in the Premier League. Although Jorginho may not be the first-choice player for every game, Arteta emphasized his desire to retain the Italian midfielder at all costs.
During a press conference this week, the Gunners' manager stated, "I'm genuinely pleased with him. That's the extent of my comments on that. The contractual aspects are more within the purview of Edu [sporting director] and those involved in management."
The uncertainty lies in whether Jorginho would be willing to stay with Arsenal if he doesn't secure a regular spot in the starting lineup. The contract situation remains unclear at present, leaving room for negotiations and decisions between the player and the club.
