Micah Richards claims Newcastle United star had an "outstanding" career

Micah Richards has shared his praise for Newcastle United star Kieran Trippier, claiming the England professional has had an "outstanding" career. The 31-year-old has previously played at Manchester City, Burnley, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid. His latest achievement was with Diego Simeone's side when he won the La Liga title. Now Trippier is back to the Premier League and continues his impressive displays for the Magpies. “With Trippier, I am so happy for him because he was at Manchester City as well as a right-back,” Richards told Sky Sports PL. “I was in front of him. Zabaleta was in front of him. “And he has gone the long way round. He went to Burnley. Then to Spurs. Goes to Atletico Madrid and wins the league. Scores in the World Cup. “His career has been outstanding.”
