Bundesliga action will return next week Friday with style when Bayern Munich welcome Bayer Leverkusen at Allianz Arena and below are our predictions for matchday 4.
Predictions on Bundesliga matchday 4 fixtures
We have made predictions on the nine Bundesliga matches that will take place next week between Friday and Sunday.
Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen
This is a top of the table clash between both teams, who have won their opening three matches. They are both solid goalscoring sides, hence we expect loads of goals at Bayern on Friday. However, Thomas Tuchel's side are likely to win this tie, mainly because they are playing at home and will have their home support behind them.
Prediction: Bayern Munuch 3-1 Bayer Leverkusen
Koln vs Hoffenheim
This game is tricky but Heffenheim are likely to take all three points. Koln haven't won a game this season so far, losing two of their opening three league games unlike the visitors, who have won two of their three. Should both teams get off from where they left off last time out, Hoffenheim would get the victory.
Prediction: Koln 1-2 Hoffenheim
Wolfsburg vs Union Berlin
Both teams have similar form, having won two of their opening Bundesliga three matches. They have struggled a bit at the back, hence expecting both teams to get on the score sheet and the tie ending in a draw.
Prediction: Wolfsburg 2-2 Union Berlin
RB Leipzig vs Augsburg
Augsburg are winless in their opening three Bundesliga matches, leaving them in the bottom half of the table, unlike RB Leipzig who have won two of their opening three games. There's a clear difference in form between but sides, hence backing the hosts to seal a comfortable win.
Prediction: RB Leipzig 3-1 Augsburg
Mainz vs Stuttgart
The hosts are in the relegation battle having failed to win any of their opening three Bundesliga matches, unlike Stuttgart, who have started their campaign with two wins from three league games. The visitors are in better form, hence them to nick the game.
Prediction: Mainz 1-2 Stuttgart
SC Freiburg vs Borussia Dortmund
The hosts are in better form, having won two of their opening three matches unlike Dortmund, who have drawn two of their first three games. Freiburg are confident at home, Dortmund are struggling to cope without Jude Bellingham, hence we have backed the hosts to get a win.
Prediction: Freiburg 2-1 Borussia Dortmund
Bochum vs Eintracht Frankfurt
The home side are winless in their opening three matches [2D1L] and coming up against Eintracht Frankfurt, who are unbeaten with two draws and one win looks like too much for them. The visitors are the favourites to get the win and we have backed them to do so.
Prediction: Bochum 0-Eintracht Frankfurt
Heidenheim vs Werder Bremen
Both teams are in dire form, with both sides losing two of their opening three games. Heidenheim came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Dortmund but we don't expect them to get a win over Werder.
Prediction: Heidenheim 1-1 Werder Bremen
Darmstadt vs Borussia Monchengladbach
Although both teams are in the relegation zone, we feel the visitors are likely to get all three points on Sunday. Monchengladbach led Bayern Munich last time out but lost 2-1. We expect them to improve on that performance, hence getting their first Bundesliga win this term.
Prediction: Darmstadt 1-2 Borussia Monchengladbach
