Manchester United turn down Galatasaray's initial bid for club ace, Fabrizio Romano confirms

Manchester United have rejected an offer from Galatasaray for midfielder Fred.

The Red Devils are willing to part ways with several players, including the Brazilian, to generate funds for new signings under manager Erik Ten Hag this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Turkish giants have now entered the race to secure the 30-year-old's services.

The player has recently appointed new agents to handle his potential departure from Old Trafford. Fulham are believed to be leading the race among Premier League clubs to secure the midfielder's signature.

Furthermore, there is interest from a Saudi Arabian club in acquiring the services of the 30-year-old player, who was absent from the Red Devils' opening pre-season match against Leeds in Oslo on Wednesday.

The team explained his absence as a measure to carefully manage his workload following his performances last season.
