Manchester United to rival Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo

Juventus are growing increasingly confident of landing the Portuguese superstar in a stunning £88m deal from Real Madrid. However the superstar’s former club Manchester United are ready to battle Juventus for his signature. The Portuguese star is believed to have agreed term with the Serie A champions but it isn’t a problem for United as they are having discussions within top brass and ready to land him. Because United signed Ronaldo as an 18-year-old, they qualify for training compensation under FIFA’s Solidarity Mechanism rule. Therefore, United should pocket around £2,640,000 if Juventus sign Ronaldo for £88m.
