Alphonso Davies has hinted that he will stay at Bayern Munich until his contract expires amid the recent interest of Manchester City and Real Madrid.
The left-back has put an end to speculation about his future by confirming that he will remain at the German champions for the upcoming season.
According to Sky Germany, both the newly crowned Premier League champions have been long-time admirers of the Canadian talent and may consider bringing him to the Etihad Stadium as a replacement for Joao Cancelo, who is expected to be sold in the upcoming transfer window.
However, the Munich outfit have categorically stated that the 22-year-old is not for sale and is eager to extend his current contract, which runs until the summer of 2025.
On the other hand, Davies himself has recently spoken about his future claiming his commitment to staying at the Allianz Arena for the next season.
"The transfer rumours are out there, but at the end of the day they’re still rumours. I still have two years left at Bayern”.
“My main goal is to play at Bayern and help the team”.
