Manchester City are interested in signing Achraf Hakimi for the summer transfer window. The club are reportedly willing to make a significant investment in the Moroccan international.
Hakimi has gained recognition as one of the top full-backs in the world, known for his attacking prowess and defensive abilities. Currently, he plays for PSG, having joined them in the summer of 2021 for an initial fee of £51.3 million from Inter.
Prior to his move to the French side, Hakimi spent a couple of successful loan years at Borussia Dortmund, where he played alongside current City players Erling Haaland and Manuel Akanji.
Hakimi's time at Dortmund was pivotal in gaining attention, and his notable trait, which continues to be effective, captured people's interest. Even his former teammate Marco Reus shared his praise for the star a few years ago.
“His speed is incredible. Achraf is a real weapon for us," the German professional said, via Bundesliga.com.
