The January transfer window was a busy one for Manchester City but mostly because the club let nine players leave Etihad.
Pep Guardiola's side started the month by selling youngster Ferran Torres to Barcelona and ended it by signing Julian Alvarez from River Plate.
Despite the official transfer, Alvarez will still remain at River until the end of the season at least. He was the only player City bought during the winter transfer window.
