Manchester City book medical for £65 star

Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Harry Maguire and have penciled in a medical for the defender. Manchester United are thought to be very keen on the centre-back, but it appears City have won the race. Pep Guardiola’s side are yet to agree a deal worth in the region of £65million for Maguire and are confident of signing the England international. But The Premier League champions have even booked a medical for Maguire ahead of the move. Maguire could officially make the switch in the next week and become City’s first major signing of the summer. Guardiola needs a replacement for Vincent Kompany, who left City this summer to become the player-manager at his boyhood club, Anderlecht.
