Riyad Mahrez has completed his medical assessment in London as he prepares to make a move to Al Ahlo, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer has swiftly progressed this week, with Algeria international agreeing to personal terms with the Saudi Arabia outfit before both clubs reached a £30 million deal for the player.
Sky Sports reported that Mahrez has been granted permission to skip Manchester City's pre-season tour in Japan and South Korea to finalize the transfer, which will see him sign a three-year contract with the new club.
While the 32-year-old has been a key player for Pep Guardiola's team for the past five years, his significance diminished slightly last season, leading to reduced playing time.
Despite contributing 15 goals and 13 assists in 47 appearances, the winger was no longer a regular in Guardiola's starting lineup.
