Klay Thompson admits he could leave the Golden State Warriors next summer, with the Lakers linked with the shooting guard. “I just want to be on a great team,” he said. “I don’t necessarily want to be the focal point at all times, because I’ve been to the mountaintop and I know what it feels like to win and win with some of your best friends. “That’s why it’d be hard for me to leave. “Just because I put so much, you know, blood, sweat, and tears into this building, with this franchise. “I’ve had my ups and downs, but I just, uh, I couldn’t imagine myself being anywhere else. “But, you know, it’s easy to say that now. “With time, things change, so it’s hard for me to envision what goes on in nine months.”
