On Saturday during their pre-season tour in America, Manchester United secured a 2-0 victory against Arsenal. On that day, one of their key players, Amad Diallo, suffered an injury without any contact during a 13-minute substitute appearance. The 21-year-old had to leave the MetLife Stadium on crutches, causing worry among Man United fans.
Despite not being involved in any collision with another player, there were fears that the injury might be severe. However, Diallo provided an update on his situation through his Instagram, reassuring everyone that the injury is not serious, saying, "Alhamdulillah it's nothing serious! I will be back soon."
Diallo is eager to secure a spot in Ten Hag's squad this pre-season after impressing during his loan spell at Sunderland last season. Missing any playing time due to this injury would be a setback, as every minute on the field is crucial. If he doesn't manage to cement his place in the manager's plans, there's a possibility he might be sent out on loan to gain more experience.
